TECER tire recycling (based in Santiago, Chile) has signed an MoU (Memorandum of Understanding) with CEYES as the first step in establishing a complete nationwide network of several semi mobile MTB Waste Tire recycling systems in Chile. The agreement applies also some complete semi mobile Mining Tire recycling solution for a total of 100 000 tons of end of life tires per year.

CEYES works together with MTB recycling (France) and with various leading European manufacturers. Together with MTB they designed also a complete semi mobile Waste Mining Tire solution. This is a whole new approach, small-scale local recycling in the Circular Economy. The MTB GATOR and TIRE boxes are circular, compact, mobile, efficient, effective, economical, 100% recyclable and create less CO2 emissions compared to a factory building. They are ideal to recycle up to 63ʺ OTR’s local at the waste tire piles on the mining sites.

After this local recycling, TECER will use the granulates to produce the highest quality, ‘upcycled’ Carbon Black with the other Dutch partner ‘Black Bear Carbon’. A part of the produced granulate will also be used for the production of ‘Green roof storm water retention panels’ designed by CEYES for the Latin American market to further expand the waste tire ‘Closed Loop’ concept.
ECER will be in operations with the first complete waste mining tire system by the end of 2018 in Chile and will be the first complete system in Latin America.
